The Journey of the Series
I was going for a chill, laid-back vibe. These aren't aspirational lifestyle videos. They're real glimpses into everyday moments, finding joy and interest in the ordinary. The series reflects my belief that you don't need an extravagant life to create engaging content; you just need to pay attention to what makes life interesting.
I vlog about my life and anything I find interesting at the time. There's often no plan, but I try to construct a narrative, whether it's the passage of time over a week or a guiding concept that ties moments together. The spontaneity keeps it genuine, while the narrative structure makes it watchable.
I usually carry around my Sony α6700 with a microphone attached. It's a fantastic camera that delivers great footage without too much effort, making it perfect for run-and-gun vlogging. The setup is portable enough to bring everywhere while still producing high-quality cinematic results when I want them.
I use both Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to edit the videos, keeping some moments slow to let them breathe, but most moments fast to keep audiences engaged. The pacing is intentional, respecting contemplative moments while maintaining energy throughout.
